Landed there by accident and it was great! Great breakfast, everything fresh, no long wait and the service was just wonderful. On the receipt it said Elvira, just great, so nice, accommodating and helpful. I've never seen such a nice service. She lives and loves her job, thanks for the experience!

We ordered two cakes here for our wedding. The advice was excellent and friendly, our requests were dealt with in detail, delivery was made exactly to the minute and the cakes were delicious! Great pastry shop, in which we will certainly come back for a piece of cake.

Delightful place for cakes, sweets and coffee. They have a delicious selection to give you taste explosion. Certainly worth a visit. The staff is friendly. The price point is a bit higher than other stores. The end of the day you pay a bit more, but I think / believe in terms of quality you get that back. Best thing is - go try something and than you will understand me :)

Good place for a coffee, variety of cakes, however i found some of them a little overprice, but is okay for a one off treat Lemon cake was really good and coffee, even is machine coffee taste is good Place has very clean toilets inside on the ground floor. We went with kids and the waitres was really nice. Not many speak english but at least one, so was a positive point too

Very good coffee and excellent home cooked tomato soup. Very nice atmosphere - good for coffee or a quick lunch.

So, I've rarely seen a nice, friendly staff. We were there for my birthday, and even though it was full, we were served so enchanted. Kudos to the employees. And of course the coffee and the cake tasted good too. When I'm around again I'll come back in.

I loved the traditional feel of this nostalgic little cafe and pastry shop in Bonn.. centrally located and the cheesecake here was simply angelic.

Lovely place, great cake and wide selection , friendly staff. My "black forest gâteau" was a delicious creamy variation and I was allowed to taste the "honeybee sting" (as I understood) - also very good. They had decaf coffee but it wasn't very good. There aren't enough female toilets for when it's busy.

A wide range of cakes in traditional German style with modernized adaption (that is, not too sweet and not too dry). The self-made Schwarzwälder is great, especailly the sour cherries soaked in Kirschwasser (cherry liquor). have to say that the cake selection should be the best among the similar traditional cakes in the city center. However, the coffee is the normal machine-made one with average beans. Service is quite typical German style.

☹️ The cakes are OK, nothing fancy, maybe a bit too sweet. There are plenty places better. The coffee is awful. It is beyond my comprehension that why does a coffee+cake shop use the most common automatic coffee machine that makes drinks with similarly charred and unpleasant taste like a coffee vending machine in the office. The waiting staff is unpleasant and inattentive. If you come here to chill, don’t as you for sure get upset about the bad quality of the drinks and the difficulty getting your order, and trying to pay.

Would give zero stars if I could. When the waitress found out I was a foreigner she treated me terribly saying “MEIN GOTT” if I misunderstood one thing. Then, they charged me for something extra that I did not get. When I tried to tell them they overcharged me, they refused to reimburse me and kept telling me I was wrong. The lady I paid took my ticket and wouldn’t pull it back out to show that I had gotten only one thing.

Sometimes difficult to find a table.

Having opened in 1913, this café has a cozy good-old-time feel with fine decoration and small details. The cakes and tarts are of German and Austrian style. You can have a peaceful break here from the shopping buzz.

True authentic cofee and bakery. Delicacies!

Coffee wasn't too great... fresh coffees by barristas would really add value to this place. Staff is super friendly, has great overview on things.

The Krapfen was awesome. The other pastries looked good also. Too bad they don’t use espresso machine. Cappuccino is only as good as the automatic machine can be.

They didn't speak very good English but was very helpful with my order.

I used to frequent this place because of their selection of cakes (if you come quite early, otherwise past 5PM you only have leftovers). However, after a "racist" experience during the Karneval 2017, I didn't want to come back anymore. I brought up the issue with the management through a formal correspondence, but I never got a response. For me, eating out is more than just the quality of the food, it is also about feeling comfortable. Fortunately, there are other places in Bonn that also serve good cakes with better service; I would rather go there.
